Dear Members and Friends of the CICC,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce invites you to take part to the Seminar "Updates on PRC individual income tax reform IIT" to be held in Guangzhou on November 28th, 2018.

The seminar aims at giving an overview on the updates about the new tax regulations.

Last August the PRC Government issued new reforms for China individual income tax (IIT), which will affect both Chinese and foreign employees working in China.

New IIT Law: What’s in the Draft? How to prepare for transition?

The second draft of the Individual Income Tax Law was approved on August 31st, 2018. The new law amends several elements of the calculation and the enforcement of individual income tax (IIT) in China — focusing on expanding deductibles, adjusting tax brackets and changing residency rules.
The Draft Amendments introduce new changes that affect each level of the IIT system at its calculation, application, and enforcement stages.

Dezan Shira & Associates’ experts will discuss about:
  • Introduction to key changes and policy rationale;
  • Consolidation of income categories;
  • Deductions;
  • New income tax brackets;
  • Non-residents taxation;
  • Compliance, Administration and General Anti-Avoidance Rules (GAAR).
